Balafon Beach Resort (Adults Only) - Kololi

Staying here was all about relaxing by the beach and enjoying the beautiful sea view from my room. The spacious King Room with Sea View was a highlight, offering a lovely spot to unwind on the terrace while listening to the ocean waves. I especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach, which was just a short walk away, and the well-maintained pool area added to the relaxation vibe. I appreciated the rich breakfast options to start my days right. It made my time in Kololi truly memorable.

Tidy rooms with large beds, good value. Location near to many restaurants which are very nice and a good choice for dinner for example, local eateries and a beautiful beach. For tea or coffee visit Cassy's Cafe & Restaurant nearby❤😀🙂

The setting was beautiful for holidays. Even the Banjul International airport was not so far, 25 minutes drive away.

Relaxing getaway in Kololi 🌴

Waking up to ocean waves was a dream! My room had a lovely sea view, aircon worked like a charm, and the pool area was flippin' great. Breakfast by the beach in the morning sun was a lekker vibe, and the chill atmosphere made it awesome to unwind.

WiFi was a bit weak, so streaming was a hassle.

Breezy beachfront but food lacking

Woke up to ocean waves crashing, and enjoyed the spacious room with a lovely view. The staff's friendly demeanor, especially during sunset by the beach.

The food options were repetitive and overpriced compared to local dining. The breakfast selection was bland, and evening meals left much to be desired in terms of variety.

It was just a prime choice for a relaxing holiday in Kololi with good value for cost. Our cleaner, Marie, was wonderful, quickly supplying us with a mosquito net when ours went for washing. Bring your own snacks to avoid the repetitive menu.

Request a room away from the security hut for a quieter stay, as noise can be disruptive at night.

The shower pressure was inconsistent, leading to longer shower times, and water shortages were an issue later in the day. There was no telephone in our room-being in such a large place without a way to directly reach help felt unsettling. The food was priced higher than you'd find outside, which snagged a bit of the relaxation vibe when dining in. To top it off, the curtains didn't block outside visibility well enough, so adjustments are needed there.

The Balafon Beach Resort provides fine beach access and an very nice setting. The staff are helpful, contributing to a cute atmosphere throughout my stay. The spacious King Room Sea View offered great comfort with amenities like a mosquito net, air conditioning, and a lovely terrace for relaxation. The security around the beach area ensured a peaceful experience without constant interruptions from beach sellers.

The food options at the hotel were limited and somewhat overpriced.

The Balafon Beach Resort has lovely large rooms with direct access to pools, perfect for families. The restaurant offers decent food, and the staff's friendliness made the experience enjoyable, although it could improve on cleanliness and management regarding staff behaviors.

I appreciated the wonderful service from the staff. They were friendly and were really good too ensure my comfort. The beach location was beautiful, providing easy access to lovely sunbeds and a charming vibe.

Facilities need maintenance.

The King Room with Sea View was spacious, but definitely not as shiny as the photos. It had basic amenities, a bit disappointing. There was a nice view, but I expected more since it's marketed as a beachfront resort. The air conditioning was crucial, but we had a bit of a hassle figuring it out initially. It was decent but felt a little lacking in that luxury vibe I'd hoped for.

Air conditioning worked great. The room had a private bathroom and a refrigerator. Enjoyed relaxing on my terrace with a view. The safety deposit box kept my things secure. Spa facilities were a nice touch too. Felt completely comfortable and at ease.

Being away from the busy streets was great. Stunning location in the Balafon Restaurant. - Not far from the shore. - Beautiful view of the beach with beds and parasols.
